Storage condition (2008)
digital photography

While the space dedicated to the exhibition of a collection is carefully tuned to support the human presence, the behind-the-scenes and sometimes much larger spaced dedicated to storage is often less hospitable. Darkness and volume-efficiency are of primary concern, and the integration of the human form is sacrificed. This series is a quiet pondering of that storage condition, and it foreshadows the design intent behind the George Eastman House extension projection.
